International Travel Documents
American Grit Travel is not responsible for the issuance of travel identification such as passports and/or visas. Travelers should ensure they have or have been approved for the appropriate documents before purchasing travel arrangements.
A valid, unexpired US Passport book is required for international travel. A passport is required for ALL travelers, including children and infants. Must have 6 Months of validity past the time of travel.
**If it applies, please ask further on convicted felons and past criminal history prior to booking**
Travel Insurance American Grit Travel strongly recommends the purchase of Travel Protection Insurance. Travel Insurance can help reimburse loss due to unforeseen events such as: personal cancellation, missed flight connections, baggage loss, trip delay, and especially medical emergencies.
Travelers who opt out of insurance coverage will be asked to sign a waiver indicating that they have declined coverage. This ensures you were aware of the potential loss of funds if not accepted in unforeseen situations. This waiver must be completed and received to American Grit Travel prior to departure.
Planning Fees
American Grit Travel advisors have invested years in our professional development with conferences, FAM trips, trainings and more. Because of this, we’re able to save our clients hours upon hours of their own planning and booking. It takes time, knowledge, expertise and research that goes into booking a great trip for our clients.
In saying so, we do require an initial non-refundable fee to start the process of organizing trip options. Fees vary depending upon the amount of travelers and depth of trip itinerary.
Quotes
Prices are accurate at time of quoting and are subject to change until payment is applied.
Additional fees: Certain fees are not included in Vacation packages quoted. Such as, baggage charges, upgrade of seats, country taxes, certain gratuities, and all fees sustained while at resort not discussed prior.
Invoice
An invoice must be signed and dated prior to completing the trip arrangements. Once the invoice is agreed upon and payment is received, it is the sole responsibility of the agent to finalize accommodations outlined in the Invoice. Arrangements booked outside of the invoice are the Travelers Responsibility.
Cancelled Trip
Cancellation and alteration of plans policies are subject to change per the supplier. Policies will always be stated per your signed invoice. American Grit Travel is not responsible for the cancellation penalties of third party supplies.
American Grit Travel Charges a $150 cancellation fee per person unless otherwise notified.
Payments & Late Fees
Payments must be paid in full at the date discussed with the booking agent. If Final Payment is not made within the agreed upon time, your booking is subject to cancelling with penalties.
Non-Discrimination Policy
American Grit Travel is committed to expand the wandering eye into the world of travel to all individuals. In saying so, we do not and shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status, in any of its activities or operations.
Privacy & Confidentiality Policy
American Grit Travel will not publicize or share your personal information with anyone else. Discretion is at the fore-front of our business. All personal information is authorized by the traveler(s) themselves to be utilized for booking arrangements.
Outside parties are not permitted to obtain information whether it be by phone or email about a booked trip without authorization from lead traveler on invoice. This includes; Spouses, estranged partners and parents not traveling on the vacation.
